Nokia N72 - The Ultimate Multimedia Phone

The Nokia N series revolutionized the way every Nokia user expected his or her phone to function. They were billed as the multimedia gems of the phone world and most models have delivered. The N72 is no different, combining the best multimedia technology possible on a phone with excellent call functionality.

The handset itself certainly looks the part with a roomy keypad that even the most chunky of fingers can effectively operate and a 178×208 pixel TFT 2.1 inch screen that offers a little something extra. The office functionality of the N72 is one of the nicer touches purely because the absolute beginner as well as the expert can navigate the easy to use menus. Everything is easily located because it is placed under appropriate submenus, which makes it far easier to download and view documents on this particular model than it has been on other N series phones.

The excellent music functionality gives the N72 an edge that few other phones have. The sound quality is almost of the same ilk as an iPod. The volume controls, when combined with this quality, would make it an acceptable substitute for an MP3 player if a user so wished, wee it not for one thing…

The inbuilt memory of the Nokia N72 is only 20MB and that does let the MP3 and imaging capabilities down somewhat as a result of the restrictions imposed on storage. However, Nokia have obviously thought about this and offered an inbuilt solution. There is an external MMC slot so not only can the memory potential be increased by up to 1GB, you don’t have to take the phone to pieces when doing so! Storage space is therefore really not factor so you can enjoy any tunes you like worry-free!

The Nokia N72 is one of the best Nokia phones on the market. It has everything, from functionality to entertainment and is packed full of features that will make it appealing to everybody. Easy to handle and easy to use, Nokia really have achieved their goal and created the ultimate multimedia phone!
